Vipasna Nangal is a Political Science student at the University of Calgary, driven by an interest in public policy and law. Her academic interest revolves around understanding how countries like Canada uphold their commitment to multiculturalism in the face of secular pressures and diverse religious communities. She is also passionate about analyzing India’s recent political developments and their implications for diaspora politics in Canada.
Beyond her studies, Vipasna is an active community member. She volunteers with an immigration and refugee law firm, has served as an SDG ambassador for the United Nations Association of Canada, led the Calgary Foundation’s Youth Council, and is an active member of the Ambedkar Students Association.
